The Cumberland Public Library’s Haunted Monastery experience is back for its third year - and this time, we’re turning back the clock for a night of retro terror!

In honor of the library’s 50th anniversary, this year’s haunted house is inspired by the iconic horror films of the 1970s and ’80s. Make your way through chilling scenes, familiar nightmares, and plenty of surprises pulled straight from horror’s golden age.

Think you can make it through without screaming?

Please note: This experience includes total darkness, flashing lights, loud noises, and jump scares. It is designed to be scary and is not recommended for children under 14. The standard route includes stairs; an accessible route is available upon request.

This is a free event. No registration is required. Admission is first come, first served, and guests may experience a wait during busy periods.
