Comic Book Club for Kids In-Person
Comic Book Club is a book club for kids in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade, where we exclusively read graphic novels. Kids must read the book before the meeting date so they can participate in our discussion and related activity. If a child doesn't finish, they can still attend, but be warned: there WILL be spoilers!
Visit the library to register your child for Comic Book Club! There, you can pick up a copy of the book if there is one available, or reserve a copy with the staff if not. This month we are reading Red Scare by Liam Francis Walsh.
The Friends of the Cumberland Public Library have generously donated limited new copies of each month's selection that the first readers to register get to keep! However, if a family gets a new book then does not show up for book club, they will be limited to a library copy the next time they join us.
