Paws to Read In-Person
Is your child looking for opportunities to practice reading? Then try Paws to Read. This program is perfect for readers looking to relax and practice reading skills. This unique program gives children an opportunity to practice reading in a low-key setting with a dog that is specially trained to relax readers and is a great listener, too. Paws to Read is offered on the third Saturday of the month from 11 am to 12 noon and then again from 3pm to 4pm in the Children's Program Room. *Please note the new afternoon time slots. Readers will get a 15 minute 1-on-1 time slot to practice reading to a registered therapy dog from Windwalker Pet Therapy.
