Other Worlds Book Club In-Person
Are you a fan of stories that take you into the stars or off on a magical adventure? Well, you should give the Library’s Other Worlds Book Club a try! The group meets at 6:30 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month. We read science fiction titles on odd months and fantasy titles on even months. This month's title is Kindred by Octavia Butler
Dana, a modern black woman, is celebrating her 26th birthday with her new husband when she is snatched abruptly from her home in California and transported to the antebellum South. Rufus, the white son of a plantation owner, is drowning, and Dana has been summoned to save him.
Copies of the book are available at the Circulation Desk for check out. Registration is not required.
